1. Prophet Godfrey Gbujie’s Prophecy on Peter Obi to win PDP presidential primary

Prophet Godfrey Gbujie made a prediction about former Anambra governor Peter Obi winning the PDP presidential nomination on May 18 in Awka, Anambra state (PDP).

Obi would be the political arrowhead in Southern Nigeria, according to Gbujie, the ministerial leader of the World Zionist Union in the southeast.

According to the 65-year-old celibate prophet from Akabuo, Ahiazu Mbaise local government area of Imo who is based in Enugu, Atiku Abubakar and Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike have greater financial clout than Obi.

The two, however, “are not favoured by God for the post,” he claimed.

Obi abandoned the PDP prior to the party’s presidential primaries, which Atiku ultimately won, contrary to what he had predicted.

Obi eventually became the Labour Party’s nominee for president.

2. Pastor Enoch Adeboye’s Prophecy On Mortality Reduction

One such prophecy is that of Pastor Enoch Adeboye of the Redeemed Christian Church (RCCG) regarding newborn mortality.

Among his other predictions was a sharp decline in newborn mortality in Nigeria.

“The infant mortality rate will decrease by at least 50%,” he said.

The International Children’s Emergency Fund of the United Nations claims that this has not happened (UNICEF). Nigeria actually has one of the highest infant mortality rates in the world.

UNICEF’s latest report titled “Situation of Women and Children in Nigeria” shows infant mortality rate in Nigeria stands at “69 per 1000 live births.”

“Latest figures show a maternal mortality rate of 576 per 100,000 live births, the fourth highest on Earth. Each year approximately 262,000 babies die at birth, the world’s second-highest national total. Infant mortality currently stands at 69 per 1,000 live births while for under-fives it rises to 128 per 1,000 live births,” the report said.

According to data from UNICEF, the UN Inter-Agency Group for Child Death Estimation, and the World Bank, Nigeria’s infant mortality rate has been continuously dropping since 1965. From 190 per 1000 in 1965 to 72 in 2020, it decreased. There is no indication of a margin as great as Adeboye expects, despite the fact that the drop might be linked to the country’s increasing access to contemporary health care.

From 2020 to 2022, the decline in percentage was only about 3%.

Despite everything that has happened, the 80-year-old continued, “this year will be a year of some big achievements (in science and in money).”

3. Prophet Ikechukwu Samuel’s Prophecy On Nigerian Currency

The general overseer of the Nigerian ministry Shiloh Word Chapel in Abuja, Prophet Ikechukwu Samuel, forecast that the value of the Naira will rise in January 2022.

According to Vanguard, the cleric claimed that he might “saw the naira recovering value in a few months.”

The prediction, however, was not fulfilled as the value of the currency has fallen 6.3% on the official market so far this year, according to Bloomberg. Global business news sources claim that the Naira is on course for its worst losing streak in two years rather than regaining value as expected.

4. Prophecy Of Portugal Winning 2022 Qatar World Cup

A Ghanaian prophet named Nigel Gaisie foretold that Portugal would win the World Cup. According to Ghanaweb, he stated in a social media post that the prophecy had appeared to him in a “vision.”

Argentina, captained by Lionel Messi, defeated France on penalties to win the 2022 FIFA World Cup. Early on in the World Cup, Portugal was eliminated.

5. Ghanian National Team Defeating Uruguay

Prior to Ghana’s match versus Uruguay on December 2 in Qatar, Ghanaian preacher Prophet Dr. Emmanuel Badu Kobi made a prophecy.

The Glorious Wave Church International’s founder and general overseer predicted that Ghana will advance to the following round and that the Black Stars would triumph.

According to the preacher, the Ghanaians will celebrate at the game’s conclusion even if Uruguay scores first. Despite receiving a penalty, Ghana fell by a score of two to one, disproving Dr. Kobi’s prediction.
