Tiwa Savage Postpones First-Ever Headline Concert In London Over Virus

Afrobeats singer and songwriter, Tiwa Savage has postponed her very first headline performance in London, England, initially set for November 26 due to a virus.

Tuesday, Tiwa claimed in an Instagram post that she had been battling “a virus for the past few weeks.” In light of this, she said she would observe “strict vocal rest for the next few months”.

Her statement reads: “To my dear Savage Soldiers, I have been fighting off a virus for the past few weeks and was today firmly instructed to be on strict vocal rest for the next few months,” she wrote.

“I will unfortunately have to postpone all performances including my first-ever headline arena show in London. I am heartbroken and devastated but I have to do this to save what is left of my voice. I am so sorry. I love you all and promise to be back performing once I am fully healed.”
