Those Supporting Labour Party Only Helping APC To Win –Okowa

Are you one of those supporting Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, Mr Peter Obi to win the presidential election in Nigeria in 2023?

They say you are indirectly helping the All Progressives Congress (APC) to win the election.

Gov. Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State, who is Vice Presidential Candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), just stated this.

He infers that if you are wise, you would rather save your vote by supporting the PDP.

Okowa said even the APC candidate, Senator Bola Tinubu is not good enough to win the election.

Okowa, who spoke at the PDP campaign train to Ndokwa East and Ndokwa West Local Government Areas of Delta, stated this in Aboh.

“God has said it that we the PDP will win this election. Many things may be happening now and people may be asking what about the G-5 governors?

“These governors are our brothers; everybody is important. But what God has said will happen, nobody can change it.

“So even if some of them decide to support APC, some will still remain with us because there will be division among them.

The Delta governor described himself as having foresight in politics, and that he was confident PDP would win the election.

“The real truth is that I have strong political eyes and I have observed that no matter what they do, PDP will win the forthcoming election, by the grace of God”.

Those supporting Labour Party and the others were wasting their time and their votes.

Shifting focus on Tinubu, he said: “We all know that the candidate of APC is not good enough to be our president.

“Also we know that Labour Party is not going anywhere and we need to sweet talk the party supporters not to waste their votes”, he stated.

The Eagle reports that Okowa’s political relevance has been on the upsurge in the recent, from being a Senator representing Delta North to being a state governor, for eight years running.

He sits atop one of the richest states in the country, which despite huge revenues from the resource also faces ecological challenges like oil spills in some of its communities.
