Tension At LAUTECH Over Stabbing To Death of Student
TENSION AT LAUTECH- There is tension at the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso in Oyo State, over the stabbing to death of a 200 level student.
The victim has been identified as Adedokun Olamilekan, but his killers at the Under G area in the town on Thursday night, are yet to be identified.
Olamilekan, a 200-level student of the Department of Information Science, was also juggling business by the side in an attempt to make ends meet.
He was the operator of Dcrown Unisex Salon, located at Under G, and he was killed following an argument leading to tension in LAUTECH

He was reportedly stabbed by yet-to-be-identified colleagues and later rushed to a nearby hospital, where he gave up the ghost.
One person who witnessed the incident said,
“He was rushed immediately to the nearest hospital where he was confirmed dead.
“The case has been reported to Owode Police Station, Ogbomoso, Oyo state”, a source
This is happening on the heels of the April 23 incident, in which some students, barricaded some major roads within the town in protest of the alleged killing of one of their colleagues.
it followed a fight that broke out amongst students at a nightclub in Ogbomoso.
Reports indicated that fight broke out between two groups of students at a popular joint in the town, where they were celebrating the institution’s convocation ceremony.
Coming too close to the last incident could be a source of worry to many and the reason for the increasing tension in LAUTECH.

All efforts to get the state Police Public Relations Officer, Adewale Osifeso’s reactions were unsuccessful as his telephone mobile number was not reachable, according to Punch.
