So, the Female Lawyer involved in the Christmas day shooting that claimed her life was Pregnant with her first child?

That is the indication online where friends and associates mourning her untimely and avoidable death have been voicing their loss and calling for the prosecution of the policemen responsible.

This, however, was contrary to our correspondent’s findings that the woman, who had a child, was seven-month pregnant when tragedy struck.

For example, a social media user identified as Deejguddy Guddy, in his post said:

This is ASP Ayuba, the rogue policeman at Ajiwe Police Station, Ajah that murdered a pregnant lawyer, Mrs. Bolanle Raheem, on Christmas day while the victim was returning from Church with her husband. We were at the station this morning and paid a condolence visit to the family.

The grieving man that is holding his head with his two hands in the photo is the husband of the deceased lawyer. He could barely utter a word while we were in his house.

This is how terrible our country has become. The police that is supposed to protect citizens is killing Nigerians with impunity”.

Another user, Comrade Phils, lamenting the Christmas day shooting, added: “She was pregnant and killed in her car in the presence of her husband.

The killer policeman, ASP Ayuba is the one in that picture and her husband is the one with his hands on his head.

We must ensure that justice is served in this gruesome murder”.

In the words of Lateef Abdulsalam,  as usual the Nigerian police has done it again, one of them an assistant superintendent of police from Ajiwe police station terminated the life of a lawyer & realtor Mrs Bolanle Raheem at Ajah, lagos yesterday ..According to report, she an expectant mother , seven months pregnant after waiting for seven years.

For Nwadjebe Cynthia Okiremute, Mrs Bolanle was neither a yahoo girl nor wrestled the gun from the officer: “She committed no offence. Yet she was killed brutally.

She is every one of us. The Officer didn’t ask if she was Igbo, Hausa or Yoruba.

A mournful Olubukola Anike Ajiga said “This is soooo devastating beyond words. Bolanle Raheem was my learned colleague from University days. Oro nla le daa o #NigerianPoliceForce, what in the world got into your medulla oblongata? “
