Sir Alex Ferguson Gives His Verdict On Ratcliffe’s Investment In Man United 

The legendary manager of Manchester United, Sir Alex Ferguson, shared his opinions on the impending minority investment entry of Sir Jim Ratcliffe.

The INEOS billionaire is expected to sign a contract with the Red Devils in the upcoming weeks, capping a story that was originally meant to end at the conclusion of the 2022–2023 season. Ferguson thinks the owner of OGC Nice can accomplish great things at United, despite the fact that the uncertainty that has followed has shown up in some appalling performances on the pitch.

Ferguson, in an interview courtesy of Gambling Zone, said: “I am still a director of the club and I know Jim [Ratcliffe] well. We shall have to see what he does but I am optimistic.”

While Ferguson continues to enjoy a role in the boardroom prior to Ratcliffe’s entrance, other executives have not been as lucky as the richest man in Britain goes about a behind-the-scenes shake-up in the boardroom. Before the year is out, Chief Executive Richard Arnold will resign from his position, and after ten years with the team, Director of Football John Murtough also appears certain to depart. However, it appears that manager Erik ten Hag’s position is secure for the time being.

As the takeover saga drags on longer still, matters return to improving performances on the pitch after a break for international football. Ten Hag will lead his United side out against Everton at Goodison Park on Sunday, where they will look to gain ground on fifth-placed Aston Villa.
