Simeone Backs Real Madrid To Seal ‘Extraordinary’ Mbappe Transfer Deal
Diego Simeone, the manager of Atletico Madrid, has acknowledged that he “would love” to see Real Madrid sign Kylian Mbappe from Paris Saint-Germain.
As it is thought, the PSG forward has his heart set on a move to Santiago Bernabeu, he has already rejected a massive offer from Al-Hilal, which reportedly stood at €700 million (£600 million/$777 million).

It would help Real Madrid replace Karim Benzema, who has taken on a new challenge in Saudi Arabia, and improve their forward line if Mbappe does in fact finalise a move there.
Simeone, though, has claimed that he would welcome Mbappe’s move to Spain and is not concerned about the increasing firepower of his competitors.
“I would adore it, and it would be fantastic for the League, ensuring that it stays among the top. Every football player who comes to Spain is empowered. Madrid’s economy is strong enough to support it. If not this year, we will undoubtedly face off against him the next, the Atletico manager told AS.
If Mbappe joined Real, would Real become unbeatable? Simeone responded: “It depends on how you look at it. We defeated Lionel Messi, Andrés Iniesta, Alexis Sanchez, Xavi, Sergio Busquets, Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale, and Karim Benzema to win the league. it’s football, not names”
Mbappe and Erling Haaland of Manchester City are expected to emerge as the two top players of the upcoming generation after a booming Cristiano Ronaldo-Lionel Messi rivalry that lasted the last 20 years. Simeone has refrained from contrasting the two potent forwards, though.
Nothing can be done because they are different, he said. “Haaland is a goal animal; he is perfect in that he lives with his back to the goal. Recovery of what his game required of him is the goal of City’s expansion. To confirm the Champions League, Haaland has to show up. Even when he plays well, he sometimes isn’t enough for you.
Real Madrid is apparently using a wait-and-see strategy in the Mbappe transfer saga in order to pressure PSG to accept a lower offer as the transfer window closes. This means that the Mbappe transfer saga is likely to last well into August. There are rumours that Chelsea and Liverpool are also considering signing him.
