Sex Slaves – Police Parade 35 Teenage Girls, Five Already …..

Sex slavery may be thriving in many locations in the country, especially in so-called hotels without many knowing, a recent case has suggested.

It involved no less than 35 teenage girls with five of them already pregnant.

The Anambra State Police Command which busted the camp in Onitsha, is of the suspicion that the girls were being used as sex slaves

The money they were generating from the illegal trade was being remitted to a madam who is now on the run, according to a Punch report.

The police also arrested three suspects, including the assistant manager of the hotel, and recovered three pump action rifles and seven cartridges.

The police spokesman, DSP Tochukwu Ikenga, while parading the girls and the suspects at the Area Command, Onitsha, on Wednesday, gave the name of the hotel as Gally Gally Hotel, located in Nkpor, near Onitsha, Anambra State.

The apprehended suspects and the rescued girls are currently at the Area Command, Onitsha, where they are being interrogated.

Last April, the police In Delta State had uncovered a place at Aragba in Otokutu in Ughelli South council where trafficked underage children were used as sex slaves.

The Police spokesman DSP Bright Edafe on April 15, 2022 at about 2330hrs, the Command received information that Fagoma Hotel located at Delta State was being used as a brothel with five underage girls were rescued from the hands of those who trafficked them.

According to the PPRO, there were in custody at the time, 20 Suspects ten males and ten females were arrested during the raid.
