Sancho Situation A ‘Nightmare’ As Dortmund, Leipzig Drop Interest In Man Utd’s Exiled Winger 

Prior to the January transfer window, Jadon Sancho future is even more uncertain as Manchester United are unable to find teams interested in the winger.

Coach Erik ten Hag has banished the 23-year-old from the senior squad, and United is keen to get rid of him when his contract expires in May. Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig, among other German teams, were reportedly interested in signing him, but according to The Sun, they no longer want to, and things are getting to the point where it’s a “nightmare” for United.

A return to his former team Dortmund was touted as a possible way back to stardom for the ex-Manchester City player, but Edin Terzic’s team believe he will not be fit enough to make the team, while Leipzig and others are put off by Sancho’s wage demands.

Sancho has only made three appearances for United this season; his most recent appearance was as a substitute in the team’s 3-2 victory over Nottingham Forest in late August. Ten Hag dismissed him for United’s next week’s trip to Arsenal, citing his lack of effort in practice. Sancho replied on social media, saying he was being used as a “scapegoat” and that as a result, the team had cut him off.

Ten Hag has stated that Sancho “knows what he has to do if he wants to return,” but it doesn’t seem like the winger has a route back into the United team. Next week, Sancho will be hoping to find a new club to get out of his awful circumstances at Old Trafford.
