Legendary football player Ronaldo Nazario acknowledges that it would be “crazy” if Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland joined Jude Bellingham at Real Madrid.

Since arriving for Manchester City in the summer of 2022, the Norwegian striker has dominated the Premier League, shattering numerous records en route to a treble-winning in previous season. However, despite becoming a City legend very quickly, Haaland has stated in a recent interview that “you never know” in reference to suspicions of a connection to Real Madrid.

Ronaldo, a great from Brazil, told the Daily Mail that he hopes to see that move through: “Real Madrid’s policy is to have the best players in the world. Haaland is one of the best players in the world. Everyone wants to have Haaland. He is at an unbelievable club. City are doing an amazing job, I think he is very happy there at the moment. But, we will see. I hope we can see all of those players together in the one club.

“It will remind me of the Galacticos if they all [Haaland, Mbappe and Bellingham] do end up at Real Madrid. If it happens [them all signing for Real Madrid], it’s going to be crazy. Watching Real Madrid playing with all of those players together. It will be an unbelievable team that will achieve remarkable things. But I think it’s going to be a great challenge for Carlo Ancelotti to manage all of those players. But, putting good players together is easier than putting bad players together. It won’t be too much of a problem for the coach.”

While Haaland’s transfer seems at least a season away, one man who looks to be heading to the Spanish capital is Kylian Mbappe. The mercurial French forward is set put an end to years of speculation by leaving Paris Saint-Germain when his contract runs out in the summer, as he reportedly accepted a lower salary offer to force through a move to Real. Indeed, PSG boss Luis Enrique has already started to prepare for life without Mbappe in recent games, and he sent a cryptic message to the 25-year-old which all but guarantees his move away.

Ronaldo also had nothing but praise for Bellingham’s start to life in Spain. With 31 games played for Real Madrid this season, the Brazilian has scored 20 goals and provided nine assists. He believes he can significantly impact England’s prospects of qualifying for Euro 2024. Regarding that competition, he continued, “I have to say, England for the last five years have been playing really well. They were a little bit unlucky at the World Cup in Qatar. I think the England team have a very good chance at the Euros.”

Following a thrilling 1-1 draw with title rivals Liverpool on Sunday—a match that was undoubtedly not short on controversy—City and Haaland will be gearing up for their FA Cup quarterfinal encounter with Newcastle. Earlier on Monday, it was confirmed that Ederson would be out for up to a month, which dealt a setback to Pep Guardiola ahead of that match.
