Rihanna Is Pregnant With Second Child, And It’s Official:

Use that as your banner headline and you would be right, as the renowned Barbadian singer, Rihanna has confirmed that she is pregnant with her second child.

A Rihana official confirmed the news to People Sunday night, on the heels of speculations that greeted her stage appearance at the State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.

The 34-year-old 2023 Super Bowl Halftime performer took the stage dressed head-to-toe in bright red, revealing a baby bump that readily attracted attention.

She had, by that, become the first pregnant woman to star in the halftime show.

Rihanna played up the big reveal in the opening moments of her performance, rubbing her stomach and leaving the zipper of her outfit — a jumpsuit layered over a close-fitting bodysuit and sculpted bandeau — down to reveal her belly.

A Grammy Award winner, Rihanna and her husband  Rakim Athelaston Mayers professionally known as A$AP Rocky, an American rapper, record producer, and record executive had welcomed their first baby, a son, in May 2022.

But then, “We just didn’t get around to it yet, really. We’ve just been living,” the singer told the Associated Press in November, on why they were yet to name the child. “But I guess there’s a certain freedom that comes with kind of just like getting it out there”, she had said,

Singer, songwriter, and actress, Rihana has sold over 200 million records and has won numerous awards, including eight Grammies.

In addition to her music career, Rihanna has also launched several successful businesses, including the fashion line Savage X Fenty and the beauty line Fenty Beauty.

The news that Rihana is pregnant is additional icing on a blossoming career and fame that reaerate around the world.
