Revealed: Real Reasons Patrick Vieira Was SACKED By Crystal Palace

Patrick Vieira was fired by Crystal Palace on Friday after the club reluctantly decided the manager’s position had become untenable.
Palace fired Vieira after a 12-game losing streak, but the decision was not taken lightly.

According to The Athletic, the club’s executives decided to part ways with the Frenchman because they were not convinced by the caliber of his coaching staff, the players had grown restless, and Vieira himself was dissatisfied with Palace’s hiring practices.
The Frenchman leaves Palace just three points above the drop zone and facing a battle to avoid relegation from the Premier League. The Eagles have failed to win a single game so far since the turn of the year.
Palace had also found it “increasingly difficult” to communicate with Vieira and were concerned with his relaxed nature in the midst of a relegation battle, according to the Daily Mail. When a meeting finally took place on Friday to discuss his future, the former Arsenal midfielder made it clear he felt unsupported and was angry that news of his departure had been leaked.
In the Premier League this year, Crystal Palace has only triumphed in one of its eight London derby games (D2 L5), a 2-1 victory against West Ham in November. The Eagles have scored the fewest goals (five) and had the poorest goal differential (ten) in these games so far this season, while Arsenal have given up the fewest goals (four) and have the greatest goal differential (+16).
