The New York Stock Exchange has released a document detailing INEOS’s plans for United, and Sir Jim Ratcliffe is getting close to purchasing a 25% ownership in the team. The club announced his investment on Christmas Eve. It states that United will not get dividend payments, but it also stipulates that they must be informed on all significant football decisions while their investment is being approved, according to The Times. The ratification procedure, which encompasses the January transfer window, may need up to six weeks.

Boxing Day saw United come back from a 2-0 deficit to defeat Aston Villa 3-2, relieving some of the burden on struggling manager Erik ten Hag. The Red Devils are currently sixth in the standings. Nevertheless, the contract also states that United would want Ratcliffe’s group’s consent once more if they were to fire the Dutchman.
