Jadon Sancho has reportedly been removed from the WhatsApp group that Erik ten Hag uses to communicate with Manchester United players.

The group in question is used by the Dutch coach at Old Trafford to communicate crucial information to first team players. The England international is no longer thought to be in the Red Devils’ immediate plans, a move that further emphasises how far out of favour he has fallen at Old Trafford.

The Sun claims that the 23-year-old winger has been removed from his manager’s communications service. Ten Hag has already barred Sancho from training, forcing the former star of Borussia Dortmund to use the Carrington academy’s facilities.

Sancho has not played for United since August 26. The gifted attacker was first benched for a September trip to Arsenal due to concerns about his work ethic in the gym. In response to criticism of his seeming lack of effort, he stated that he was being used as a “scapegoat” in Manchester.

Since then, Ten Hag has declined to bring Sancho back into the fold as he awaits an apology that has not materialised. It is anticipated that a deal will be reached during the January transfer window that will permit all parties to pursue separate paths.
