Real Madrid Tell Kylian Mbappe How To Secure Transfer
Real Madrid still want Kylian Mbappe, but scarred by past experiences, will wait for the French superstar to make the first move.
Madrid has long been interested in signing Mbappe, but it seems that sentiment in the Spanish city has slightly soured. According to certain sources, the club has given up on the player completely. However, according to French radio station RMC, Madrid is still interested in Mbappe even though they won’t initiate contact to close the transaction.

“If Mbappe wants to come, let him do the job,” RMC quote a Real Madrid source as saying.
According to the source, Madrid has ceased communication with Mbappe’s representation and it will be up to him to reopen talks.
Madrid has seen several setbacks in their tenacious pursuit of the French icon. The striker’s change of heart most famously caused humiliation for los Blancos and anger in the La Liga administration in 2022. However, despite the 2024 expiration date on the agreement Kylian signed, it appears Real Madrid, with their impressive roster of up-and-coming talents, no longer views the captain of France’s signature as the prize it once was.
