Sir

I would like to bring to your notice the bad condition of the roads in our area through this letter.

For the past 6 years, our road, the Latona Street, a popular street which leads to Iyana Ipaja, especially at Araromi Bus Stop, Lagos Nigeria has been almost impassable.

We have made several complaints, the problem is being neglected for a long time.

The surface of the road is so rough for both pedestrians and motorists to use. This is because of the many bricks scattered on the road. There is an abandoned truck on the road and it had been there for years now.

This leaves only a little room by the side for road users. The side drains are blocked and the water flows out, spilling on where pedestrians should walk.

As a matter of fact, the road gets flooded even after a slight rain. There are pot-holes on the road. The broken ground is also a danger for vehicles.

The students , workers and others who use the street are facing a lot of problems because of the bad condition.

I would like to use this medium to call on the authorities to kindly look into the matter and do the needful.

Thanks

Yours sincerely,
