Alexandre Letellier, Paris Saint-Germain’s goalkeeper, and his young family are said to have experienced a severe break-in at their residence in Yvelines.

The incident in question is said to have taken place in the early hours of Tuesday morning. At around 2 am, the PSG goalie and his partner were awoken by the triggering of their alarm – which alerted them to an intrusion in their garden.

The police were contacted right away, according to RMC. However, there was enough time for the alleged thieves to break into Letellier’s home and abduct the couple, as well as their two small children. After a terrifying incident, jewellery was demanded at knifepoint.

Letellier’s partner is said to have been hit in the face, with the ordeal only coming to an end when police forces arrived. Three of the burglars involved were arrested and taken into custody by the Versailles judicial police.

One of the suspects arrested was 21 years old, while the other two were just 16. Various items stolen during the raid were found in their possession and recovered. Letellier, who is third-choice keeper at PSG and has been with the Ligue 1 champions since 2020, is now recovering from the scary episode alongside his family.
