PSG Fan Hospitalised With Stab Wounds After Violent Clashes With AC Milan Ultras 

A Paris Saint-Germain supporter has reportedly been hospitalised with stab wounds following violent clashes with AC Milan ultras.

Just a few hours before they play each other in the Champions League group stage, fans of two dominant European teams gathered in Milan on Monday night.

Around 100 all-black Rossoneri ultras reportedly pushed their way into the Navigli neighbourhood of Milan, where PSG supporters had gathered for pre-match cocktails, according to Corriere della Sera.

They arrived to the sound of a huge firework going off, and in the ensuing frenzy, tables and chairs were thrown over and glasses and bottles were crushed on the ground.

According to Corriere della Sera, a fan from Paris received treatment for stab wounds to his leg prior to being admitted for further medical care.

The tragic incident happened shortly after midnight, when police deployed tear gas to attempt and disperse the throng.

Milan fans had tangled with PSG supporters during the reverse fixture between the two clubs at Parc des Princes on October 25 – when the Ligue 1 title holders ran out 3-0 winners.

A 34-year-old Frenchman is said to have suffered serious, but not life-threatening injuries – with stab wounds being stitched up.

Although some supporters were taken to adjacent hotels after receiving various knocks, none of them are thought to have suffered permanent injuries. Two additional fans reported having “bruises and bloody head wounds,” but they declined to visit the hospital.

While authorities examine the video material shot by cameras placed across the Navigli region, no arrests have been made among Milan supporters.
