Pochettino Gives Update On Lukaku Transfer Rumour

However, the Nerazzurri are attempting to negotiate a new contract with the Blues to bring him to Milan. Despite the fact that no deal has yet been agreed, Pochettino made the suggestion that he might be sold by the time they start making plans for the upcoming season.
“The situation, all of the parts, know what we think. I think in that case he needs to come back in 12th or 13th to be in the squad to start pre-season,” he said at a press conference when asked about Lukaku. “like all of the players when they arrive they come to my office to say hello. If he is still a Chelsea player.”
The Belgian international would reportedly join the Serie A team this summer if Chelsea and Inter reach an agreement. Despite rumours that AC Milan wanted to sign him, Lukaku has made it clear that he only wants to play for Inter next season. He has also turned down a sizable offer from Saudi Arabia.
