When the former governor of Anambra shared images of the occasion on his verified Twitter account, he claimed that “Chief Ogene Okeke” had accepted them.
He wrote, “I joined President Obasanjo and Pa Ayo Adebanjo at the Ohanaeze Headquarters in Enugu to sign the condolence register for late Chief Mbazulike Amaechi. The team was received by Chief Ogene Okeke. – PO.”
Recall that Amaechi had led a group of important Igbo leaders to President Muhammadu Buhari before his death to demand the release of Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra.
