PICTORIAL: Martinez Shows Off New Hairstyle As Mount Joins Man Utd Training

Following his £60 million ($77 million) signing from Chelsea, Mason Mount has participated in his first practise as a Manchester United player.

The England international midfielder has severed ties with the Blues having been on their books since 2005. He is now 24 years of age and is excited to be taking on a new challenge – especially as he has been handed the iconic No.7 shirt at Old Trafford.

Mount is in the process of finding his feet in new surroundings, with Erik ten Hag getting an early look at what he will have to offer the Red Devils following the first team squad’s return to pre-season training.

Many of United’s senior stars have returned to Carrington, including Argentine defender Lisandro Martinez, who is getting ready for the 2023–24 season. The 2022 World Cup champion, who missed the end of the previous season after breaking his metatarsal in April, has a daring new appearance for the new campaign: the South American has gone peroxide blonde!

While Mount may make his United debut during the team’s preseason tour of the United States, his professional debut may occur on August 14 against Wolves at home on the first day of the new Premier League season.
