Paris 2024 Olympics: All Eyes On Men’s 100m Final

There have no dull moments at the Paris 2024 Olympics Games, but many eyes have since shifted to the Men’s 100m Final.

Even for the athletic loving world which could not personally go to Paris, how to watch live, the proceedings has become another important assignment.

The heightened excitement is expected: Aside the talents and national prestiges at stake, the event will hold over two days, two.

First is the preliminary round and then, the final.

The event kicked off with the preliminary round on Saturday followed by round 1. The semi-final and the 100m final will be held on Sunday, which will be early on Monday morning Australian time.

Apparently, there would be no dull moment as is characteristic of races of the natures.

Those who are unable to watch live on D days may not lose much. The Paris 2024 Olympics men’s 100m will be available to watch on live streaming, according to the organisers.

They say that on the second day for example, the proceedings will begin with three semi-final race of nine sprinters. From these, the top two in each heat and next two fastest will advance to the final later in the day.

The thought of almost a dozen sprinters slugging it our on the tracks is awesome, more so, with the field events showcasing defending Olympic 100m champion Lamont Marcell Jacobs of Italy, reputed world’s No. 1, the United States’ Noah Lyles of the USA, incidentally, the Tokyo 2020 bronze medal winner in the 200m and the reigning world champion in both the 100m and 200m.

Other big names are Canada’s Andre De Grasse, the defending 200m champion and 100m bronze medallist in Tokyo and Fred Kerley, runner-up in the 100m in Tokyo and a 2022 world champion.

The Paris 2024 Olympics has, right from the outset promises great spectacles, and now, other details of importance in athletics are as follows: –Jamaica’s Kishane Thompson who has the world-leading time of 9.77 seconds; Noah Lyle, third with a season-best of 9.81, not forgetting Usain Bolt that holds both the 100m Olympic record of 9.63s, set at London 2012, and the world record time of 9.58s, set at the 2009 World Athletics Championships in Berlin.
