Outstanding Bradley Shows Klopp It’s Time For TAA In Midfield 

The 20-year-old Conor Bradley put on an incredible show that hinted he won’t be left out moving ahead, scoring one goal and setting up two more.

Debates over Trent Alexander-Arnold’s best position in this Liverpool team will rumble on, but right now, it’s difficult to make a case for the England international not to be moved into midfield given the form Conor Bradley has shown while covering at right-back.

The 20-year-old has shown a lot of promise lately, but on Wednesday, he excelled against Chelsea, scoring his first goal for the Reds and setting up two more as the Premier League leaders defeated the Blues 4-1 on Merseyside.

Darwin Nunez came close to scoring a couple of times, but Diogo Jota’s run on Bradley’s pass and manoeuvre past two Chelsea players to tap home gave Liverpool the lead. Then, after being released down the right, Bradley increased the advantage with a magnificent angled drive.

Nunez struck the post with a penalty kick just before halftime, missing the opportunity to make it 3-0, but the Reds quickly overcame that setback when Dominik Szoboszlai headed in a lovely Bradley cross.

With 20 minutes remaining, Christopher Nkunku gave Chelsea hope for a comeback, but Nunez again struck the woodwork with a header, and Luis Diaz sealed the deal with a close-range finish to ensure that the Reds’ first Premier League match since Jurgen Klopp announced his departure from the team ended in victory.
