Obi ‘ll Be Sent Back To Anambra After 2023 General Election – Tinubu

Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, a candidate for the presidency of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), asserted that Peter Obi, a candidate for the Labour Party (LP), does not understand the path he should take as Nigeria’s president.

Speaking during the APC presidential campaign flag-off today (Tuesday) at the Rawang Pam Township Stadium in Jos, Plateau State, Tinubu made this claim.

He said, “Peter obi, Haaa! This Obidient. He lives in Lagos not in Anambra. He doesn’t know the road. We will return him to Anambra. We will chart him a new course.”

The APC presidential contender promised to return Obi to Anambra state in 2023 after claiming that the Labour Party candidate resides in Lagos.

However, Tinubu gave Nigerians reassurance that there is hope and that even in the face of adversity, Nigeria will survive.

He said, “Hope is back, Nigeria will be well. Nigeria will not sink. We hereby reaffirm our commitment to progressive good governance.”

Among other APC national stakeholders, President Muhammadu Buhari, Senate President Ahmed Lawan, and the APC governors were present for the flag-off.

As the APC Presidential campaign flag-off continues in Jos, goodwill messages have kept coming in.

All of the governors who spoke, including Yahaya Bello of Kogi, Ben Ayade of Cross River, Mohammed Badaru of Jigawa, Mai Mala Buni of Yobe, and Nasiru El-Rufai of Kaduna, vowed to work for the party’s success and urged supporters to do the same.

Heavy security personnel were present for the event, although they struggled to keep the crowd under control. Idris Maje, the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, had to step in to get things under control.

In the presence of Hajia Nana Shettima, Senator Remi Tinubu reassured women and youth that they will be included in administration and that they had nothing to worry when casting their votes for the Party in 2023.

“God will make our nation stronger than what is being seen…, there will be food, and there will be jobs,” Tinubu said.

Isa Aremu stated that the APC is a labor-friendly party because the President did not lay off any employees despite the recession; as a result, the labor movement supports Tinubu and is confident in his ability to create good employment.

In his remarks, Senator Joshua Dariye expressed confidence that the successes of 2015 and 2019 would be repeated.
