NNPP: Ogun gubernatorial candidate, Ajadi storms Ado-Odo, promises to link roads to towns

Ogun State gubernatorial candidate under the platform of the New Nigeria People’s Party, Olufemi Ajadi Oguntoyinbo, stormed Ado-Odo under the Ado-Odo-Ota Local Government, Ogun State and promised to rehabilitate the bad roads and link them up to neighbouring towns.

Ajadi, who went through a rigorous trip as a result of bad roads, told the electorates that they would enjoy a government of inclusiveness if he is voted for in the forthcoming governorship election.

He went further to say that it is undemocratic for the incumbent government of the state not to have constructed linking roads from the busy cities around the Ado-Odo town to ease the commercial activities of the citizens who are known for agricultural production.

He said, ‘The pathways that link to the town are not good to ply by motorists as there are no proper canals to flow away the stagnant water from the locally made roads,” he said.

Ajadi stepped further to tell the journalists that some of his female supporters who came along with his convoy were harassed by the unemployed youths in the town, adding that such an act almost negatively weighed him down from the given acceptability from other citizens.

“Industrial company would be built to engage the literate citizens while loans and entrepreneurial empowerment would be granted to illiterate ones among the youths to keep them away from nefarious activities,” he said.

The state chairman of the party, Comrade Olaposi Sunday Oginni, said Ajadi would engage the electorates, especially the women, in a lucrative business through the lending of non-tax loans to them.

Oginni moved further to remind the electorates of the fact that the literate and the illiterate citizens would be empowered, adding that everyone understands the value of money irrespective of their educational background.

He then said that the educational background of the citizens would never determine their right to humanitarian assistance.

“The government of Olufemi Ajadi would make the dividend of democracy to be felt by every individual and in every nook and cranny of the town,” he said.
