NNPP Chieftain Olufemi Ajadi graces NIJ HOD’s Daughter’s Traditional Wedding

Chieftain of the New Nigeria Peoples’ Party (NNPP), Olufemi Ajadi, brought colour to the traditional wedding today, of the daughter of Mr Michael Osuji, Head of Department (HOD) of Mass Communication of the Nigerian Institute of Journalism (NIJ) at Osuji’s compound, Mowo, Badagry Lagos. Badagry, Lagos.
The ceremony solemnised the union of Ezinne Osuji, and her heartthrob, Mr. Bright Izu, with Ajadi storming the event with his entourage.

In a vibrant display of culture and tradition, and brought together family, friends, and well-wishers from various walks of life.

The couple,, radiated happiness as they embarked on this important journey of love and commitment.

While being interviewed by our correspondent, Ajadi said Mr. Osuji was an amiable lecturer and that he had always guided him through his academic difficulties while he was a student at NIJ.

He said, “Nigerian Institute of Journalism is a school where students and lecturers are seen like one family where everyone wishes one another well wishes and that is why we are here today to celebrate the joyous day of the daughter of our father, Mr. Mike Osuji.”

“I wish you, Ezinne, and Bright a happy married life. May your journey together be filled with love, joy, and endless blessings as you walk hand in hand through the beautiful path of marriage,” he said.

The Osuji’s Compound, nestled in the heart of Mowo, Badagry, provided a picturesque backdrop for the traditional marriage ceremony. Decorated with vibrant colors and adorned with traditional embellishments, the venue exuded an atmosphere of joy and festivity.

Some of the Management Staff of NIJ that honored the occasion were the Deputy Provost, Dr. Dele Omojuyigbe; the registrar, Mrs. Patricia Kalesanwo; the H.O.D General Studies, Dr. Adeboye Ola; Chief Lecturer and Director of Special Programmes, Dr. Jide Johnson; Mr Cami Ezenwa who is also Ajadi’s Director of Media, the Students Affairs Officer, Mrs aime Umoren, Mr Akin Ojo and Pst Jack Amaso.
Others in attendance were Esther Eke, the ICT Coordinator and a lecturer, Miss. Josephine Okocha Mr. Femi Osuntoki; and Mrs Christiana Okoh.

Guests were treated to a rich display of Nigerian culture, including traditional dances, music, and cuisine, which added to the overall sense of celebration and unity.

In all it was a day filled with laughter, joy, and cultural significance as Ezinne and Mr. Bright embarked on their journey as a married couple, with the blessings and support of their loved ones and the distinguished presence of Olufemi Ajadi from NNPP.
