NNPP: Ajadi Receives Royal Blessing From Orimolusi Of Ijebu Igbo Kingdom

Ogun State gubernatorial candidate under the platform of New Nigeria People’s Party, (NNPP), Olufemi Ajadi, has paid a courtesy visit on His Royal Highness, Alayeluwa Oba Lawrence Jaiyeoba Adebajo, Orimolusi of Ijebu Igbo.

Ajadi went on the visit with his entourage on Wednesday, September 21, 2022, to receive a royal blessing over his governorship ambition.

He was accompanied by the state chairman of the party, Comrade Olaposi Sunday Oginni with the Ogun East Senatorial candidate, Wasiu Oluwafemi Ajirotutu.

While receiving the gubernatorial candidate and the other party’s stalwarts, Oba Lawrence Jaiyeoba applauded the courage of the candidate as he felt that only a determined candidate could politically challenge an incumbent government.

His royal Highness reminded the august visitors of the fact that there are many gubernatorial candidates from different political parties, adding that only Almighty God would say who would emerge eventual winner. .

“As King, I can only pray for you and grant you my blessing. So, I wish you the best of luck in your governorship ambition,” he said.

While thanking Oba Lawrence Jaiyeoba and the chiefs at the palace for their warmth and hospitality, the state chairman of the party, Olaposi Oginni, said Ajadi was in the palace to receive the blessing of the Royal Highness and also seek fatherly advice.

“We shall be visiting you officially when the political campaign starts in October but we thank you and the chiefs for giving us a warmly welcoming hospitality,” he said
