NNPP: Ajadi Carts Home Two Awards In One Week

Two Awards In One Week: The outgoing week has been an eventful one for the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), as well as its gubernatorial flag bearer in Ogun State, Ambassador Olufemi Ajadi Oguntoyinbo.
Ajadi who has been the recipient of so many awards before now, got bestowed with another two awards in one week.
The first was by the National Watch Tabloid publication which honoured him with a golden plaque as
“Ambassador of Peace & Security”.
Ajadi, a friend of the security institutions in the country, on account of his understanding, moral and other support, is also a member of the Vigilante Group of Nigeria.
The Eagle reports that last April, he was decorated by the VGN high command as Assistant Commandant, Inter-Governmental Affairs for Ogun State.
The decoration ceremony was conducted by Adedoyin Olanrewaju Nureni, who is a member of the National Executive Council of VGN.
The latest awards are not coming as a surprise therefore, for they are in recognition of the contributions that Ajadi has been making in the different spheres of life.
He was represented at the Ambassador of Peace & Security Award ceremony by His Director of Media & Strategy, Mr Cami Ezenwa.
In an acceptance speech, Mr Ezenwa thanked the organisation for the recognition adding it would spur Ajadi to do more for humanity.
He recapped for the audience, how Ajadi had been touching lives beyond ethnic and ideological boundaries, adding that as signatory to Ajadi’s scholarship scheme for students, he had personally been amazed at the depth of compassion that the politician had been showing.
“His humanitarianism is rare. He is ever willing to be of assistance and he does it without raising much airs.

All he needs to see is my counter signature on any such vetted applications and once genuine, he expressly approves.
“He has touched a lot of lives bailing people out of the urgent financial needs”, Mr Ezenwa said.
In the second award, members of the Plant & Machineries Mechanical Association of Nigeria, also praised Ajadi’s contribution to philanthropy in Ogun State particularly but in the country generally.
In addition to honouring him with a merit award, they also appointed him grand patron.
