Night Club Saga: Rashford Arrives For Crunch Talks With Man Utd Boss

Prior to crucial talks with manager Erik ten Hag, Marcus Rashford has been seen arriving at Manchester United’s training facility.
Rashford reportedly went to a Belfast nightclub on Wednesday and Thursday night, which sparked controversy last week. The forward reported to management that he was sick in the second incident, which occurred just hours before he was scheduled to be at United’s training facility. The club reaffirmed this in a statement issued prior to his team’s FA Cup victory over Newport County on Sunday.

Ten Hag, however, provided a concerning update prior to the same game, telling BBC Sport: “He reported ill in the last few hours yesterday.” This is an internal issue. I take care of it. That is an internal issue.” Rashford has now arrived at Carrington to have a sit-down meeting with the first-team manager, as the Daily Mail reported. On Monday morning, his brother and agent Dane was also seen arriving at the club’s training facilities.
Rashford may be feeling the heat, considering the strict discipline Ten Hag has dished out since taking over at Old Trafford. Not only did Cristiano Ronaldo depart the club after publicly criticising the Dutchman back in 2022, more recently Jadon Sancho was banished to train alone following a spat with the ex-Ajax boss.
Rashford’s penalty for his alleged indiscretion is still unknown, but at this point, the star cannot afford any off-field distractions. The 26-year-old has had a terrible season thus far, making just 20 Premier League games and only managing four goals. He has also drawn criticism for what is reportedly his low work ethic.
