Night Club Saga: Man United Issue Fresh Rashford Statement After Ten Hag Talks
Following crucial talks with manager Erik ten Hag, Manchester United has released a new statement on striker Marcus Rashford.
Rashford missed Sunday’s FA Cup victory over Newport County, but he returned to Manchester United on Monday for discussions with Ten Hag. The Red Devils said Rashford missed the match due to illness, but after being seen in a Belfast nightclub and skipping training, he has drawn criticism. United has now provided an additional information on the circumstances.

The club said in a statement: “Marcus has taken responsibility for his actions. This has been dealt with as an internal disciplinary matter, which is now closed.”
Players who don’t agree with manager Erik ten Hag’s ways or misbehave outside the team have been banished in the past; Jadon Sancho is one such example. He said he was being used as a “scapegoat” by the United manager and declined to issue an apology. After that, Borussia Dortmund received a loan of him.
Rashford, on the other hand, is back in training and eligible for selection on Thursday against Wolves.
In the Premier League, United faces Wolves in an attempt to recover from its defeat at the hands of Nottingham Forest and its draw with Tottenham. When they faced Newport County in the FA Cup, they triumphed 4-2.
