Nigerians on Twitter have reacted over the newly appointed Director-General, Department of State Security, DSS, Yusuf Magaji Bichi.
The appointment is, however, generating animated reactions from Nigerians across different social and political divides, while some are opposing the appointment, some are supporting it.
While some believe that the appointment is a welcome development, premising their argument on the competence of the new DG, others accuse the president of tribalism in his choice of the new DG.
Nigeria’s President, Muhammadu Buhari, had on Thursday (yesterday) named Yusuf Magaji Bichi as the new Director-General of the Department of State Services, DSS.
Bichi is now to take over from Matthew Seiyeifa who replaced sacked Lawal Daura as the acting DG.

The new DSS boss Yusuf Magaji Bichi retired in 2017 (after 35 yrs of service) as Director of Finance & Admin aka Bag Man under Daura.
In short, Daura is still in charge of the DSS….Buhari has colonised Nigeria patapata.

For me, there's nothing wrong in what @MBuhari has done.
He is the C-in-C and as such, he reserves the prerogative of appointing anyone he deems fit to any position.
