Nigerian Boxer Finds Sponsor To Fulfil Life-long Dreams

Nigerian registered sports and entertainment company, Bullion Go-Neat Global Limited, has announced her willingness to sponsor young Nigerian boxer, Oyakojo Muyideen Ojo, to San Antonio, Texas, United States of America after the eradication of COVID-19.

The company said the move is to enable the athlete fulfill his dreams of being an international star.

The C.E.O of Bullion Go-Neat Global Limited, Mr. Olufemi Ajadi Oguntoyinbo, said the arrangement to be a supporter to that 5.1FT, 56 weight boxer was sealed on the 1st of June, 2020 at the company’s headquarters, 1, Amras crescent, Torotoro, Ibafo, Ogun State.

He added that his support to accompany Oyakojo as a sponsor to Texas in the United States of America is based on the boxer’ 5-year-signing contract with a ‘Team Hit Squad’ a registered company situated in 401 san Antonio Texas, United State of America.

Oyakojo told The Eagle in an interview later that Bullion Go-Neat Global Limited would be taking care of all his needs which include Feeding, wardrobe, accommodation, training kit, and keeping in shape.

 The young Nigerian boxer added that the company would also be accompanying him with the sponsorship of his trip expense .

He said, “I am going to the United State of America on a signing contract agreement with a Team called Hit Squad,  it is a registered company  in 401 san Antonio  Texas.”

“I will feel grateful because I had completed my amateur boxing career from Africa down to Europe as an achiever.

“My knockout boxing style speaks for me.

” I believe participating in professional boxing will be a total difference as I will change my blow to magic style,” he said.

Some of the participated boxing events of Oyakojo in Nigeria and abroad are listed according to a year of participation below:

He participated in the Ogun State Grassroots Games from 1st to 8th June 2012, and the 18th National Sports Festival, “Eko 2012”.

This boxer also participated in the National Youth Games held in Abuja between 5th to 15th December 2013, and the Korater Boxing Championship in the same year where he became the overall winner.

In 2014, he participated in the 2nd Africa Youth Games held in Gaborone, Botswana.

In 2015, he partook in the 1st Kenneth Minimah National Open Boxing Championship (male & female) which was held on the 29th of June to 4th July at the National Stadium, Surulere, Lagos.

He also took part in the National Open Boxing Championship in 2017 at Brai Ayonote Boxing Complex Gym, National Stadium, Surulere, Lagos where he was awarded the male (56kg) Bantam wt. Bronze.

In 2018, he attended the Champion of the Champions Boxing Tournament at Brai Ayonote Boxing Complex Surulere, Lagos.
