Nigerian Air Force Direct Service Commission: Items To Bring Along -NAF

Successful candidates to the Nigerian Air Force Direct Short Service Commission 34/2025 have been told what to bring along with.

These were contained in the release by the force announcing the names of successful candidates today:

SHORT SERVICE COMMISSION COURSE 34/2025

1. Following their success in the Direct Short Service Commission Course (DSSC) 34/2025 Selection Board Interview conducted at Nigerian Air Force (NAF) Base Kaduna, from 12 January – 8 February 2026, the candidates listed in Paragraph 7 have been selected to undergo the 6 months basic cadet

training at the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) Afaka, Kaduna from Saturday 18 April 2026.

2. The selected candidates are to come along with original and photocopiesof their credentials, including i. First School Leaving Certificate
3. NECO/WAEC/NABTEB results,

iii. Academic Degree/HND Certificate,

1. Birth Certificate/Declaration of Age
2. Nigerian Air Force Applicant
3. Acknowledgement Card,

vii. Signed Consent of Parent/Guardian and Local

Government Area

viii.  Indigeneship Certificate.

Serving military personnel are to in addition, bring along release letters and passes from their commanders.

Candidates who fail to present the original of the stated documents will not be accepted into the Academy.

3. While reporting to NDA, the candidates are to bring along the following items:
4. Three pairs of blue shorts and white round neck vests.
5. Two pairs of one-step oversized white canvas shoes.
6. Two pairs of white shorts.
7. Four pairs of white socks.
8. Black polish, brushes, shaving kit and toiletries.
9. Two white bed sheets and pillow cases for 8 spring bed.
10. Pyjamas.
11. Black swimming trunk/shirt.
12. Two pairs of black and white trousers.
13. Two white shirts (long sleeves).
14. One lounge suite (dark colour).
15. Two belts (preferably black).
16. One pair of black cover shoes (males only).
17. One black rubber-strapped digital quartz wristwatch.
18. Pressing iron.
19. Six passport photographs.
20. In addition to the above, female candidates are to report to NDA with the following items:

1. One pair of black low heel cover shoe.
2. Four lounge skirts (dark colours).
3. Four pairs of black or blue short/tight.
4. Two pairs of trouser suits.
