Up to 155 people May Have Died From Plateau Killings
What is the actual number of casualties in the horrendous attacks on communities in Plateau State?
Whereas official figures say 96, villagers ‘ account say up to 155 may have been felled in the attacks.
Chairmen of the two local governments where the dastardly act took place said 155 people were killed with over a thousand injured and many missing.
President Bola Tinubu March-orders Security Forces
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has ordered security agents to fish out those behind the Plateau massacre.

Chairmen of the two councils, Bokkos and Barkin-Ladi Local Government Areas of Plateau State – Monday Kassa and Danjuma Dakil – put the number of the dead at 155, with 1,000 persons injured

Police Service Commission (PSC) Disowns Recruitment Exercise
The Police Service Commission has disowned supposed ongoing recruitment exercise by it, saying there is no such thing. The commission stated this on Tuesday describing the publication as fictitious.
It also warned prospective candidates for screening for recruitment into the Constable cadre of the Nigeria Police Force against coming with the sum of N2000 as requested by the spurious recruiters.
Celebrity Street Boxing: Portable Makes History Over Charles Okocha
Nigerian street-pop artist Habeeb Badmus, aka Portable, has made history in the celebrity Street Boxing contest.
This he did by defeating Nollywood actor Charles Okocha on Wednesday.
The fight was sanctioned by Heritage Boxing Entertainment at Landmark Beach in Victoria Island, Lagos.
Diaspora Nigerians Doing Great Remit $20bn
The World Bank has said Diaspora remittances into Nigeria is expected to exceed $20bn by the end of 2023.
It’s latest Migration and Development Brief released this month, stated that the global remittance flows would continue to grow in 2023 although at a slower pace.
“Remittances to Nigeria, accounting for 38 per cent of remittance flows to the region, grew by about two per cent, while two other major recipients, Ghana and Kenya, posted estimated gains of 5.6 per cent and 3.8 per cent, respectively.”
