NAPPMED Pledges To Vote For Ajadi As Governor Of Ogun In 2023

Ogun State chapter of the Nigerian Association of Patent and Proprietary Medical Dealers (NAPPMED) has pledged to vote for the gubernatorial candidate of the New Nigeria People’s Party, Olufemi Ajadi in the 2023 gubernatorial election.
They made this pledge during an interaction with the gubernatorial candidate yesterday.
Speaking on behalf of the association, the Lady President, Mrs Dominion Omyisi said it would be a loss of effort for any Ogun voter to cast his or ballot for any other political party outside the NNPP.
She said of the masquerading political parties, that it was only the NNPP that had not been tried in terms of being put in charge of governing the affairs of the land, and that the time to do so in Ogun State had come.
Omyisi mentioned Ajadi particularly adding that testimonies of his generousity was enough indication that he had the people’s welfare in mind, unlike the other contenders for whom such a thing could not be said.
“We, members of the NAPPMED have held a meeting before you were invited and we had a unanimous decision to vote for you in the Ogun State 2023 gubernatorial election,” she said.
Speaking in the same vein, the Ogun West Zonal President of the association, Imam Raji Nosirudeen, said that the gubernatorial candidate, Ajadi, should have confidence in the fulfilment of the association’s promise, adding that every member had a voter’s card.
“I have been practising politics for a long time and I know what it takes to win the election. So, we had told our members whom to be voted for in Ogun State and we will help you in propagating your party to other unions,” he said.

While acknowledging the given acceptance by the association, the state chairman of NNPP, Olaposi Sunday Oginni, promised them inclusion in the government of Ajadi, after the victory would have been secured.
He added: “All the political gladiators in Ogun State had voted into power candidates from different constituencies but it is time for the son of Iyewa to be voted for,” he said.
Responding, Ajadi reiterated his promise of government of inclusiveness, saying NAPPMED would be given due attention, given the importance place that the association and its members occupied in the affairs of the state.
He said every modality had been worked out and all that remained was working to ensure victory for NNPP in the elctions.

“I am going to create offices for all the unions in Ogun State and executives from NAPPMED would not be excluded from the initiative”, he said.
