‘My Wife Will Definitely Divorce Me If She Hears Of This’

If you are a woman, it is very important you find out the kind of occupation that your husband is into, if you do not want to cry bitterly at the end.

But unfortunately, not many ladies are wise enough to find out what their husbands are into.

The account you are about to read is a clear indication. It is from the lips of a 30-year old suspected drug dealer, Martins Okwor.

In Gwada in the Munya Local Government Area of Niger State, he is now a tenant of the police in the state, who arrested him following a tip-off.

Narrating his exploits to Punch, he began by confessing that he had been arrested twice this year for the same crime, but worse, is that the woman whom he married had no idea how the feeding and maintenance money she receives regularly comes.

 “I was arrested by policemen attached to Maitumbi Division following a tip-off while the second arrest was carried out on October 16, 2020 by policemen attached to Gwada Division, Munya Local Government Area of the state.

I was caught at Maitumbi while trying to escape with three sacks of marijuana loaded in a vehicle, along with five men working for me”.

Affirming that his wife does not even know what he does, he said:

“She only knows that I have a chemist at Gwada. She doesn’t even know that I am with the police now; it is unfortunate.

“I did not tell her about it because I knew she would discourage me. In fact, she would have reported me to family members. I know she will be extremely disappointed in me.

”Day and night, she prays for me to succeed in my business not knowing I have been involved in an illegal business.

“She will definitely divorce me because I lied to her about my business, which I was not supposed to do as her husband. I have wronged her; I can’t even approach her to ask for forgiveness”, he confessed.
