Mohbad: Mourners Gather for Candlelight Service and Tribute Concert

All is now set for candlelight service and tribute concert for renowned Nigerian vocalist Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, better known as Mohbad.
The untimely departure of the artiste has been stirring emotions ever since, and his legacy is billed for a celebration today, Thursday, September 21, 2023.
It will be a somber procession of mourners commencing from 5 pm, starting from the Lekki Phase One gate and progressing to the serene surroundings of Muri Okunola Park in Victoria Island.

As a mark of respect and unity, attendees have been requested to wear white t-shirts, creating a sea of solidarity in honor of the late musician.

Punctuality: Participants are urged to arrive promptly at the starting point, Lekki Phase One, on or before 5 p.m.
Respect Traffic Authorities: Please adhere to the directives of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) to ensure a smooth and safe procession.
Cooperate with Security Forces: Show respect and cooperation towards the Nigerian police force, the Nigerian army, security officers, and safety marshals present to maintain order.
Walk in Pairs: For security and ease of movement, walk in pairs to enhance safety during the procession.
Prohibited Items: Sharp objects, bottles, and weapons of any kind are strictly prohibited during the event.

Parking Facilities: Attendees can make use of the parking facilities available at the Nigerian Law School to ensure convenient access to the venue.
