Lionel Messi was on song for Inter Miami, right at Nu Stadium opening with a strike just 10 minutes into the game.

It was a stamp of approval on at a sporting edifice that bears the Argentine international’s name, even as the game with visiting Austin FC eventually ended two apiece.

Both teams gave a good account of themselves making fans sacrifice in watching a worthwhile investment.
