Man Wins $110k Lottery Jackpot Twice In 6 months

A man from Wayne County, Michigan has found himself in such a fortunate situation, and has his stars to thank.

The 59 year old winner who has asked to remain anonymous hit the winning lottery jackpot twice.

He won a massive $110,000 (Rs 91,13098) Fantasy 5 Double Play lottery prize for the second time in six months

In August of last year, he had won a similar jackpot amount in the Fantasy 5 Double Play drawing on August 31st, 2023, with the identical sequence of numbers (02-06-11-20-23).

His latest win followed his purchase of a lottery ticket for the February 11th drawing at a BP gas station on West 9 Mile Road in Southfield.

“After winning $110,000 back in August, I switched up my Fantasy 5 numbers,” the player was quoted as saying.

“I took my tickets to the store to have them checked and replayed. The clerk scanned the tickets, returned one to me, and said, ‘I think you won big!’ I thought, ‘There is no way, I can’t be so lucky. I checked the winning numbers, and sure enough, I’d won again! I could not believe it. Winning is such a blessing.”

“The first time I won, I was able to pay off all of my debts; now I can have some fun! I don’t have any special plans with the money just now; I intend to sit back and watch it accumulate in my bank account for a while,” he stated.

The player won his first $110,000 prize in September 2023 by matching all five Fantasy 5 Double Play numbers in the August 31 drawing: 09-15-28-30-37. The winning ticket was likewise purchased at the BP gas station, which is located at 19995 West 9 Mile Road in Southfield.

To be a lottery jackpot winner is obviously not an everyday experience, but to some people, of more importance is what happens to the prize money a few days afterwards.
