Man Utd Joins Sofyan Amrabat Race As Bayern Consider Swoop For Fiorentina Star
Manchester United reportedly had negotiations with Sofyan Amrabat about a potential summer transfer.
The move of Amrabat from Fiorentina, according to Florian Plettenberg of Sky, has reportedly begun. However, any deal is not expected to be finalised until later in the summer transfer season.

Bayern Munich is also keeping an eye on the Moroccan international, although they have not yet expressed an official interest.
Amrabat enjoyed a superb 2022 World Cup with Morocco, playing in every game as his country reached the semi-finals, only to lose to France. The 26-year-old only has a year left on his Fiorentina contract, leading to intense speculation over his future.
Financial Fair Play has significantly reduced United’s budget, which has forced them out of the race to sign Declan Rice for Arsenal. Amrabat, as a result, may be seen as a cost-effective alternative.
This summer, United already added Mason Mount to their roster, but they may still be hoping to reach an agreement with Amrabat in order to bolster Erik ten Hag‘s team.
