Man Utd Boss Ten Hag Targets Ajax Star Brobbey As Hojlund Competition
Erik ten Hag may attempt to lure another one of his former Ajax players to Manchester United as he targets striker Brian Brobbey, a report says.
According to The Mirror, Ten Hag is considering his options for strengthening his team’s assault during the summer transfer window and may target the 21-year-old. Before Brobbey left on a free transfer to join RB Leipzig, the Dutch coach gave him his senior debut at Ajax. The forward later returned to the Dutch powerhouses on loan before sealing a permanent move back to Amsterdam.

Although they don’t have the money to buy Brobbey this month, United had planned to add a new forward in the January transfer window to rival Rasmus Hojlund. It is anticipated that Anthony Martial would depart Old Trafford during the summer transfer window, making room and maybe money available to bring in Brobbey.
In an attempt to turn around what has been a patchy season so far, the Red Devils may try to add a few players throughout the month, albeit these will probably only be temporary additions. Ten Hag’s club is now sixth in the Premier League after 20 games, having previously crashed out of Europe.
