Man United To Sign £50m-Rated Inter Defender Dimarco

Published

Manchester United are considering signing Inter left-back Federico Dimarco, who is also wanted by PSG.

Being without both of his senior left-backs has caused manager Erik ten Hag to have major concerns about United’s defence. Since Tyrell Malacia and Luke Shaw have ongoing injuries, the Dutch manager has been forced to rely on temporary replacements. Only Sergio Reguilon, a left-back on loan from Tottenham Hotspur, is the club’s sole proper left-back at the moment. In light of this, Calciomercato reports that the Red Devils may think about making an offer for the Italian defender in the upcoming transfer window.

The report further suggests that the Premier League giants are likely to face competition from Paris Saint-Germain. Inter, on the other hand, are considering offering their star player a new long-term deal that will see him double his wages.

Inter may be tempted to trade the Italian international Dimarco even though they are determined to keep him if they receive a transfer price of roughly €50 million (£43 million).
