Man United Ready To Consider Transfer Bids For Greenwood

Mason Greenwood is apparently open to transfer offers from Manchester United, who are looking to “cash in” on the winger.

In September 2023, the Red Devils permitted England international Greenwood, who only had one cap, to depart Old Trafford for a Liga loan to Getafe. Due to his impressive performance in Spain, there have been rumours that Barcelona and Atletico Madrid are interested in the 22-year-old.

Although United has not made a firm decision regarding Greenwood’s future, it is anticipated that a sale will be approved during the upcoming window given that he will make his final game for the Premier League’s top team in January 2022.

Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that the Red Devils are heading down that path, saying of a forward that is under contract with his parent club until 2025: “Man United have not made final decision yet about Mason Greenwood but feeling is that club will be ready to consider proposals in case of permanent transfer bids. Man United could cash in on Greenwood this summer, waiting for INEOS verdict after internal talks.”

Greenwood may return to Old Trafford this summer, but Sir Jim Ratcliffe has given him no guarantees that he will stay in Manchester. In light of this, it is thought that ending things and starting over from scratch would be best for everyone.
