Luis Enrique, Paris Saint-Germain manager, revealed that Kylian Mbappe has not sustained a significant injury after leaving the victory for Marseille hobbling.

The French international had to leave the pitch to receive treatment on the sidelines after Leonardo Balerdi’s brutal tackle prompted him to do so. Mbappe returned to the pitch after receiving medical attention in an effort to continue.

His presence, however, was brief as he quickly kicked the ball out of play and ran straight for the tunnel. Enrique has since revealed that the injury is not as serious as some may have thought.

“Although not significant, there was discomfort. It was better, in my opinion, to leave (sub off). He is well, but it’s a blow, he said to reporters after the match.

Le Classique saw PSG destroy their opponents in the derby rivalry 4-0 despite the absence of Mbappe. In the eighth minute, Achraf Hakimi scored off a superb free kick to get things started. Soon after, Randal Kolo Muani scored his first goal for PSG.
