Although Paris Saint-Germain often rules Ligue 1, there have been a few surprises where players from other teams have accomplished the unthinkable.

However, Kylian Mbappe defeated Wissam Ben Yedder, Martin Terrier, and Moussa Dembele to win the Ligue 1 Golden Boot in 2021–22.

Mbappe is one of the favorites to take home the prestigious individual trophy this season, but he will have plenty of rivals.

Along with Ben Yedder and his PSG teammate Lionel Messi, who have both consistently scored goals throughout their careers, other notable goal scorers include Jonathan David of Lille and Alexandre Lacazette of Lyon.
