Lawmaker’s New Year Package That Got Many People Talking

A lawmaker’s New Year Package can really be a source of surprise, especially when it goes beyond or below the expectations of the beneficiaries.
You could now imagine the atmosphere within Bungudu/Maru federal constituency of Zamfara state where a representative at the House of Representatives, Alhaji Shehu Ahmad stormed the area with 100 cows and various farming equipment.
“This is one of our farmers support project aimed at supporting our women and unemployed youths to be self-reliant in future” the lawmaker said at the venue of the distribution.

The lawmaker’s Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) “Fulbe Care Initiative”, coordinated the distribution.
He told the excited beneficiaries and others well-wishers that he was doing the good deed in collaboration with the federal ministry of Agriculture and farmers association.
“We procured 100 cows, animal traction equipment and other farming inputs to be given to various beneficiaries from the two LGAs through cooperatives”, Ahmad said
“We are working to provide more projects for the benefits of our people”, he added.
According to the lawmaker, part of his mission is to ensure creation of employment opportunities for the youths in the constituency and the donation was one of demonstrating this commitment.
Ahmad is of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), and the State PDP Chairman, Alhaji Tukur Danfulani, who was represented by State PDP Vice Chairman, Alhaji Hassan Damri commended the lawmaker for the initiative.
Urging the beneficiaries to make the best use of the donation, he also appealed to ther privileged individuals in the area to emulate the gesture of Ahmad.
Another person who spoke at the event was the State PDP Women Leader, Hajiya Aisha Waziri.
She also commended the donour for the laudable gesture generally and particularly for remembering the womenfolk in the distribution.

The lawmaker’s gesture has really got people talking with many describing it as commendable, given that it would really support the masses who benefited.

Phone snatchers got beaten at VGC
Two phone snatchers got beaten to stupor for making an attempt to snatch man phone yesterday at VGC.
The two snatcher have been doing this for awhile and has been getting away with such, and the people around the area have been noticing and decided to take this action.
The people around have been monitoring them without them noticing the snatchers went ahead to snatch a man’s phone in his car and ran, the people monitoring them saw this and ran after them and they were caught and the got beaten by them.
It was the elder people around that advised them to report to the police around and they should stop taking justice to their hands.
