JUSTIN: Nigeria’s Ambassador To Spain Dies At 63
Demola Seriki, the 63-year-old Nigerian ambassador to Spain, has passed away.
The former minister was claimed to have died on Thursday, December 15, “surrounded by his family,” according to a statement released by his children.
“It is with heavy hearts and profound gratitude to Almighty Allah that we announce the loss of our much loved and admired patriarch, husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend,” the statement reads.

The late Demola Seriki was appointed as Nigeria’s ambassador to the Kingdom of Spain in January 2021 and served in that capacity until his death.
Between 2009 and 2010, he was the Interior Minister of State.
Demola Seriki received the chieftaincy title of Otun Aare of Lagos from HRH Oba Rilwan Akiolu, the Oba of Lagos, in May 2009.
From 2007 to 2008, he held the position of Minister of State for Agriculture and Water Resources in Nigeria.
He was the Supervising Minister for Mines and Steel Development from October 2008 to December 2008.
For two years, from 2008 to 2009, he was the Minister of State for Defense.
