Just In: Wizkid’s Made In Lagos Album Hits Milestone On Apple NG Charts
Wizkid’s Made In Lagos (MIL) sophomore album has reached another milestone as it has been consistently played for 100 weeks on the Nigerian Apple Music album charts.
The project, MIL, originally released on October 20th, 202o has been so far, his most chart-topping and record-breaking.
Recently, the album achieved the same milestone on Billboard Charts and became the first African album to spend 100 weeks on it. Thus, Wizkid is the first and only African artiste to achieve such a feat.

In line with this feat, the album also charted in the Billboard World Albums category for four consecutive years (2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023), spending over 100 weeks on the chart and making it the first African album to achieve such a feat.
In other trending gist, there was supposedly a more audible Wizkid verse in the song, ‘One Dance’ from Drake’s 2016 album “Views,” which in December 2022 received a diamond certification in the US after selling more than 10 million copies.
Big Wiz made an appearance alongside British singer Kyla Reid as a special guest. But other people felt Wizkid wasn’t loud enough, and they criticized his performance on the song.
