Just In: Atiku Speaks On Reconciliation Moves With Tinubu

The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar spoke on the reconciliation move alleged by the president-elect, Bola Tinubu.

Atiku during a press conference on Thursday said he is not aware of any reconciliatory moves by Tinubu.

Earlier, reports online alleged that APC set up a reconciliation committee to meet with Atiku, Peter Obi and other aggrieved presidential candidates.

The Ondo State Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu had claimed that the committee was set up by the ruling party to resolve their displeasure and ensure all parties involved work together with Tinubu, for the growth of Nigeria.

Akeredolu disclosed this in a statement released by his Chief Press Secretary, Richard Olatunde, on Wednesday.

Atiku, however, on Thursday in a press conference in Abuja, when asked if some governors elected on the platform of the APC visited him and they were turned back, said he is not aware of any such moves.

Further, he stated that he was at home all day and was not aware of any governor coming around.

He said, “Well, I am really not aware of that. I was home all day today I was not aware of any governor coming to see me.”
