Iwuanyanwu’s Will Bans Young Widow From Remarrying & Also..

Late elder statesman and former President-General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu’s will has come to the front burner for reasons.

Aside his political antecedents, the late Iwuanyanwu garnered not only national but continental fame for his forays in various fields of endeavor.

In addition to being a politician, he was a football promoter, a philanthropist, a newspaper publisher and more, but the content of his will is the bearing for the current focus on the towering personality.

Iwuanyanwu’s will, was last week, read to the family by a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), Chief Chukwuma Ekomaru (SAN), with the contents causing some stirs.

He left his famous Legacy House in Owerri, to Frances Chinonyerem Enwerem, his youngest wife of 26 as at time.

1. Frances is forbidden to forbidden from selling the property.
2. Frances also inherits the late politician’s firm, Magil Furniture, previously run by Iwuanyanwu’s late first wife, Eudora
3. Frances also has partial stakes in real estate assets located in Orji, Works Layout, and Naze, all in Imo State.
4. Should Frances chose to remarry, she would lose these inheritances, the will furthers states.
5. Iwuanyanwu’s London property is to be sold, with the proceeds distributed as follows: 60% for the education of Iwuanyanwu’s youngest son, 30% to his first son, Jide, and 10% to Ezinne, the current occupant, to support her relocation.
6. Iwuanyanwu’s ‘Glass House’ near the Owerri flyover be transformed into a public trust. An independent board will oversee the property’s use for charitable and community-focused initiatives.
7. Iwuanyanwu’s other five children will inherit, other assets located in Abuja, Imo etc.
